I am a UX designer and front-end developer with over six years of professional experience and a BFA in Visual Communication Design living in Bellevue, WA. I currently work as a UI designer at Microsoft in the Microsoft Studios division designing game websites and online community features for the various video games produced by Microsoft Studios. Along with interaction design, I have a large amount of experience with print design and motion graphics. Other than design, I like to fill my time with hiking, ice hockey, photography and video games.

I am available for freelance design projects so if you are interested in working with me, please fill out my contact form and we can talk about your project. Also, I am always excited to meet and work with other designers, so if my skills would suit your project, let me know! I’m particularly interested in working on indie video games.

During my senior year of college my wife and I created a digital products company called The Warehouse. We currently sell high-quality design products like icons, fonts, website themes and textures.

I’ve written several articles about dark patterns, persona creation, design education, and entrepreneurship. I’ve also recorded tutorials for motion graphics and visual effects.
